ITINERARY:

Day 1 ARRIVAL DAY. ASHGABAT AIRPORT.

Arrival by flight TK early in the morning. Transfer to hotel. Early

check-in and short rest. City tour, visit Ertogrul Gazy

Mosque, Independence Park, Neutrality Arch, National Museum,

Nissa (UNESCO) and Turkmenbashi Mosque-Mausoleum.

Day 2 ASHGABAT - DARWAZA

Half-day city tour including visits to Anau mosque ruins, Ahalteke

horse stables, Central bazaar. Transfer to Darwaza in the Karakum

Desert, visit Erbent desert community on the way. Dinner with BBQ.

Overnight in tents.

Day 3 DARWAZA - BCP SHAVAT - KHIVA

After camp style breakfast direct transfer to the border check point

Shavat. Arrival before or after lunch break at post. Transfer to

hotel. Have a dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 KHIVA

If you ever dreamed of getting into Eastern fairy tale, than

your dreams will come true. City tour in Khiwa, around: Ichan-Kala

architectural complex (XII-XIX), the Residence of the last Khiva

Khan including Ismail Khodja Mausoleum, Muhammed Amin Khan

Madrassah, Kunya-Ark Castle (XVI-XVI), Kalta Minor Tower, Tash-

Hovli Palace (XIX), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum(XIV-XVIII), Juma

Mosque (X) and other Khiva tourist sights. Narrow streets, carved

“ayvans” veranda and doors, majestic minarets and mausoleums,

heritage and arts –all kept with care in this city as great treasure.

Leisure time. Night at hotel.

Day 5 KHIVA - BUKHARA

In old times, road from Khiwa to Bukhara took more than a

Month. Today it takes 6-7 hours by Transport, through mysterious

Red desert “Kyzyl-Kum”, the territory of “Choresm”, which was

called in the past as a “State of Thousand and Hundred Cities”.

What kind of secrets are buried in this desert, this is something

what archeologists and historians will be trying to find in the

future. Meanwhile, you are invited to view the exotic landscapes

of desert with roaming camels, nomadic yurts and old Amudarya

River (Oxus).

Day 6 BUKHARA - SAMARKAND

Holy Bukhara, homeland of Ibn Sino (Avicenna), beloved city of all

saints and worldwide known philosopher – cheery Hodja Nasriddin,

lively, noisy and luxurious capital of Emirs, rich man of all nationals

and patrons. When you hear “Splendor of East” – it is Bukhara!

City tour in Bukhara. Then free time.

Transfer to railway station for train to Samarkand. Arrival

Samarkand and hotel check-in.

Day 7 SAMARKAND - TASHKENT

The science and art of ancient East were concentrated in

Samarkand since olden times. Multinational and tolerant – it is

spoken here that: “there are many stairs leading to the sky” and

there is no difference in what language you pray. Full day city

tour in Samarkand: Registan Square - Madrassah Ulug Bek (XV),

Madrassah Shir-Dor (XVII), Madrassah Tillya-Kori (XVII), Mausoleum

Guri Emir - Tamerlane’s Tomb (XIV-XV), Bibi Khanum Mosque (XIVXV).

Visiting of morning East Siab Bazaar.

Transfer to railway station to take the train to Tashkent. Arrival in Tashkent

and overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 TASHKENT BP – OYBEK – KHUDJAND

Morning city tour around Tashkent: the State Museum of Applied

Arts of Uzbekistan, visiting the religious complex Khasti Imam.

Border formalities and meeting with guide and driver at the Oybek

border. Drive towards Khujand – the centre of Sugd region, second

capital of Tajikistan. Lunch upon arrival. Later visits to museum

which is located next to the famous fortress of the city. In addition

to market to our gaze at mavzaley Shaikh Maslehatoddina 14th

century. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 9 KHUDJAND - DUSHANBE

After breakfast, drive to Dushanbe – the capital city of Tajikistan.

Hotel check in. Later visit of Hissar fortress - one of the “lord’s

Palaces” of the Bukhara Emirate (110km, 3hrs). This fortress is

surrounded by monuments and mausoleums XVII-XVIII centuries.

Evening excursion, walking in the Independence Square, where

you can see the flagpole, which entered to the Records of Guinness

Book as the tallest flagpole in the world (H165m), a monument of

the founder of first Tajik State - Ismail Somoni and a biggest library building

in Central Asia, 9-storey, with over 11 million books.

Day 10 DUSHANBE - ALMATY (flight)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for the Flight to Almaty. Upon

arrival, transfer to hotel. Have a rest. Drive to Big Almaty Lake

(opt). Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.

Day 11 ALMATY

After breakfast, start city tour in Almaty: visit Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen, Zenkov

Cathedral, Museum of Kazakh National Musical Instruments, Green

Bazaar. PM. Visiting Central Mosque, Republic

Square and Square of First President. Drive to Kok-Tube Hill and take a cable

car. It is the highest point of the city, which is situated at a

height of 1100 meters above the sea level and have the best panoramic view.

Day 12 ALMATY - KARAKOL

After breakfast, drive to Karakol via Kazakh-Kyrgyz border Kegen.

En route visit Charyn Canyon. Upon arrival to Karakol

dinner at local café, overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 KARAKOL - BISHKEK

After breakfast, drive to Bishkek. En route possible to stop in

Cholpon-Ata and have a boat cruise (should be paid supplementary).

Excursion to Burana Tower of XI Century - remains of the ancient city of

Balasagun. Upon arrival to Bishkek dinner at local café, overnight

at the hotel.

Day 14 BISHKEK – ALA-ARCHA

After breakfast, city tour of Bishkek, including visiting of History

Museum, Central Square Ala-Too, Panfilov Park. Then drive to

National Nature Park Ala-Archa for easy hiking.

Drive back to Bishkek and visit Osh bazaar. Dinner at local

restaurant with Folklore Music Show. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 DEPARTURE DAY

After early breakfast, transfer to Bishkek International Airport “Manas” for

departure Flight.
