Motorcycle trip in Kyrgyzstan 9 DAYS

  If you are looking for an exceptional and incomparable motorcycle journey with dramatic sceneries, we are offering the most adventurous trip through mountainous roads of Kyrgyzstan. Starting from Bishkek, we will hit the Bishkek-Osh motorway by crossing the challenging Töö Ashuu Pass, entering Syysamyr valley, which is one of the most famous valleys of Kyrgyzstan. A lot of shepherds come here to graze their cattle on summer pastures.

Here, the most delicious traditional kurut (dried cheese), honey and kymys (fermented mare’s milk) to try. Furthermore, we drive to Son-Kul Lake, a Pearl of Tian-Shan mountains, second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan, with an altitude 3016 m above sea level.After leaving Alpine lake, we are headed for the Tash-Rabat caravanserai, which is a unique architectural monument from Great Silk Road Era and nowadays the main archeological sights of Kyrgyzstan. Thereon, we will stay in Naryn city, located in a picturesque area, which combines mountains, river, forest and semi-steppes. Continuously we will ride east to Issyk-Kul Lake and finally arrive in Karakol, the most favored city of travelers and adventurists. It is located close to many picturesque mountains, that is why is a perfect starting point for riding to dramatic sceneries routes. Bishkek will be the final stage of our adventure!

ITINERARY:

Day 1 ARRIVAL DAY. BISHKEK AIRPORT

Arrive to Bishkek. Have city tour in city center: Central Square

Ala-too with Flagpole and Monument of National Kyrgyz hero

Manas, Oak Park, Central Mall TSUM, Victory Square & Osh Bazaar.

Overnight in hotel/guest house.

Day 2 BISHKEK - TOO-ASHUU PASS - SUUSAMYR

After breakfast, start driving on motorbikes. En route after driving

through Too-Ashuu pass (3586 m.) you will enjoy dramatic and

beautiful scenery of Suusamyr valley. En route possible meet local

nomads with yurts and taste traditional Kyrgyz drink Kymyz, dried

cheese etc. Overnight in guest house.

Day 3 SUUSAMYR – KARA-KECHE PASS - SON-KUL LAKE

After breakfast drive via Kara Keche pass (3384 m.) to alpine lake

Son-Kul. Once visiting the lake you can feel yourself emerged in

real nomad life and culture surrounded by nomads and their lifestyle.

Overnight in yurts.

Day 4 SON-KUL LAKE - MOLDO-ASHUU PASS - TASH-RABAT

Drive to Tash-Rabat caravanserai dated XV century. It is supposed

to be the monastery of nestorian - Christians or Buddhists who

came here before the Mongolian invasion and the spreading of

Islam in Tien-Shan. Overnight in yurts.

Day 5 TASH-RABAT - NARYN

After breakfast, drive to Naryn, a city is 70 years old, situated

about 200 km from the Chinese border at a height of 2040 m.

Early settlements have been founding caves nearby and there are

stories that suggest that the name itself is quite old. Overnight in

guesthouse.

Day 6 NARYN - DOLON PASS - TAMGA

Today drive to Tamga village, situated at the southern coast of the

2nd largest mountain lake in the world – Issyk-Kul lake. Overnight

at the hotel/guesthouse.

Day 7 TAMGA - KARAKOL

Today you will drive by the southern shore of Issyk-Kul to Karakol. Have city

tour in Karakol, visit Holy Trinity Cathedral made of wood and

Dungan Mosque, as well as Museum of Przhevalsky, one of well-known

Russian explorer of Central Asia. After optionally possible

drive to Altyn-arashan gorge.

Day 8 KARAKOL – BISHKEK

Return Bishkek city by the northern shore of Issyk-Kul lake. En

route visit Cholpon-Ata petroglyphs and Burana Tower. Overnight

at the hotel/guesthouse.

Day 9 DEPARTURE DAY

Transfer to airport for home flight. See the group off
