Day-by-day programme
DAY 2
Bishkek → Chon-Kemin
Drive to the Chon-Kemin valley. Enjoy the scenery of forested slopes, village landscapes, and gentle trails. Overnight in the valley.
DAY 3
Chon-Kemin → Issyk-Kul (North Shore) → Karakol
Travel through Boom Gorge to Issyk-Kul’s North Shore. Continue along the lakeshore to Karakol for overnight.
DAY 4
Karakol City Tour → Jeti-Oguz
Visit Dungan Mosque, Russian Orthodox Church, and the city bazaar. Drive to Jeti-Oguz Gorge to see the “Seven Bulls” and “Broken Heart” red cliffs. Return to Karakol.
DAY 5
Karakol → South Shore → Bokonbaevo
Drive along Issyk-Kul’s South Shore, stopping at scenic viewpoints. Arrive in Bokonbaevo and meet the eagle hunter who demonstrates traditional falconry.
DAY 6
Bokonbaevo → Kochkor
Continue toward Kochkor village. Visit a local handicraft and felt-making workshop. Overnight in Kochkor.
DAY 7
Kochkor → Naryn
Drive through high mountain passes and valleys on the way to Naryn. Enjoy panoramic stops along the route.
DAY 8
Naryn → Son-Kul (Yurt Camp)
Ascend to Son-Kul Lake surrounded by vast open pastures. Experience nomadic culture and overnight in a yurt.
DAY 9
Son-Kul → Bishkek
Return to Bishkek via mountain passes. Arrival in the afternoon.
DAY 10
Departure
Transfer to Manas Airport.
